Our Youth Artist Guild is having their first annual Summer Camp and Intensive! Create with us in our new space and pick from a wide variety of interests tailored to your young artist.

About the Event

CAMP LCT is adding brand new SUMMER CAMPS for July!!!!

Join a wide variety of professional teachers, actors, artists, and mentors that will have you performing and creating ALL summer long. Each half-day camp is only $65 for YAG members and $75 for the public. Children will present a showcase or art project at the end of every camp.  Class info is listed below. July 5th-9th

  • Poetry/Prose 9:00 AM-12:00 PM -From script to stage, students will write and produce a mini production and learn how to write, costume, and put up their own show! Ages 7-18 (will be grouped with similar ages) Teachers- Desirae Sarate
  • Poetry SLAM!  1:00 PM-4:00 PM - Students will learn the "competitive art of performance poetry". A poetry slam, puts a duel emphasis on writing and performance, encouraging poets to focus on what they're saying and how they're saying it. Students will also learn to bind a book to showcase their written works of art. Teacher - Danielle Demetria & Blanca Del Loco

July 12-16th

  • Cartooning - Does your child like to doodle? Does your child like to draw? Learn from accomplished artist Jedidiah Martin. Students will showcase their works of art in a showcase at the end of camp. Ages 7-18 (will be grouped with similar ages) Teacher - Jedidiah Martin
  • Two-Faced (Special FX and Stage Make-Up) 1:00-4:00 PM - Mermaids, oozing sores, zombies, and fantastical creatures are all made here in this Special FX class. Students will get to play and dabble in make-up, hair, and prosthetics. Ending in a professional photoshoot to showcase the student's work. Ages 7-18 (will be grouped with similar ages) - Teacher- Jillian Johnston.

​July 19-23rd

  • Act Up 2 9:00 AM-12:00 PM - Audition prep, monologue, and scene work. Get group and personal attention to improve your skills. Join us for an actors showcase at the end of the week. Ages 7-18 (will be grouped with similar ages) Teacher - Desirae Sarate
  • LCT Radio Hour 1:00-4:00 PM - Ages 12-18. Students will learn the art of the radio show. They will write, direct and record their own shows while learning about foley artists and sound fx. Ages 7-18 (will be grouped with similar ages) Teacher - Jedidiah Martin

July 26-30th

  • Minecraft LIVE! 9:00 AM -12:00 PM - Children will write scripts, make props and plan costume pieces within the world of MINECRAFT.  Ages 7-18 (will be grouped with similar ages) Teacher - Heather May
  • Audition REEL! 1:00-4:00 PM  Learn audition techniques for film and voice-over work. Create a performance reel of your work and techniques on sending online audition tapes. Ages 7-18 (will be grouped with similar ages) Teacher - Jedidiah Martin and regular special guests.

Students can choose to attend both camps for the week, but will need to bring a lunch for the break.

Students may be dropped off 10 mins before class begins and will need to be picked up within 15 mins of ending.
