YAG Informational Meeting
September 14, 2021  6-8pm

Lubbock Community Theatre is excited to announce the kick-off of the 2021-2022 Youth
Artist Guild (YAG) Program. An informational meeting will be held for students & parents
on Tuesday, September 14th from 6:00-8:00 at our new location of 3101 35th St. This
the meeting will be an opportunity for students and parents to hear about our exciting
the program, ask questions, and join YAG.

The Youth Artist Guild is a student-driven youth program that enables students ages
8-18, to experience all areas of the theatre. Youth Artist Guild members are given the
opportunity to take part in all aspects of the theatre, such as the Youth Committee
administration, meetings, workshops, and production activities on stage, behind the
curtain, tech crew, and front of house operations. YAG members experience the
excitement and responsibilities of producing shows from start to finish. Participation in the
youth program provides youths the ability to gain hands-on experience that can assist
them in their adult endeavors and develop a love of the arts.

The Youth Actors Guild is special in its strategies for giving students a quality experience
for a low cost. Membership dues are $45.00 per year, September-August, and include a
YAG t-shirt, YAG meetings, and workshops held the 2nd Tuesday of each month, ability
to apply for the Youth Committee, ability to audition and/or participate as crew for YAG
productions, participation in YAG volunteer activities such as house management,
ushering, concessions, booths at fairs, and other community activities.
Please plan to attend the YAG student & parent information meeting on Tuesday,
September 14th from 6-8 at Lubbock Community Theatre, located at 3101 35th St.
