LCT Fall 2021 Adult Academy

LCT is announcing its new Academy for Adults. A mix of dancing, acting, singing & technical classes & workshops.

LCT Actor's Studio  Instructor:  Randall Rapstine

Monday's: 5:30-7:00 pm 8 Weeks (Sept 13th - Nov 1st)

$10 per class/$75.00 for session/$5.00 with Student ID

Acting focus on stage presence, enunciation, and confidence through monologues and scene study. 

A drop-in studio for the more experienced actor that provides an opportunity for actor

coaching, monologue and/or scene work, theory, and brush up of acting technique.

Work on a monologue, prepare and present a scene, read some new playwrighting . . .

whatever floats your boat! Taught by professional actor, director, and educator Randall

Rapstine.

Styles of Broadway (Dance)  Instructor(s):  Kyla Olson with Guest Instructors Every Week

Thursday's: 5:00-6:30 pm

8 Weeks (Sept 9th - Oct 21st)

$10 per class/$75.00 for session/$5.00 with Student ID

An open class where students will work with different guest artists from the area each week to learn dance combinations in differing styles of Musical Theatre Stage Dance such as; Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Contemporary, Fosse, & Hip-hop.

Sundays: 3:00-4:00 PM 14 Weeks (Sept 5th-Dec 12th) Excluding Holidays

$10 per class/$100.00 for session

Where Fitness Meet the LCT Stage! This is an all-level cardio dance fitness class that combines the love of musical theater with healthy strong fitness choreography to enhance your confidence, improve coordination, boost mental health, and help maintain or develop those physical fitness goals that will enable you to Live Better and Love Better on stage and in your everyday life.  Learn the basics to move in motion while burning calories and having fun at the same time! Music will include World Rhythms and favorite theatrical soundtracks. 

LCT Zumba  Instructor:  Amber & April Langehennig

Monday's: 5:30-7:00 pm 14 Weeks (Sept 6th - Dec 17th) Excluding Holidays

$10 per class/$100.00 for session 

Zumba is a calorie-torching dance party set to all types of music that alternates intervals of high and low intensity so that you feel constantly challenged but never overwhelmed. This is mainly a cardio workout, but you will get some toning benefits thanks to the hip-swinging dance moves, which help with core strengthening. Success options will be provided for those who need a little extra support.
