Educational Programming

The Lubbock Community Theatre Stages Academy is a student-driven youth program that welcomes young artists to experience all areas of the theatre.

Stages Academy members are given the opportunity to take part in all aspects of the theatre. Students between the ages of 8 and 18 can serve on the Youth Committee administration, allowing them to partake in meetings and leadership workshops.  Students are also welcomed into production activities on stage, behind the curtain, tech crew and front of house operations. 

 

Participation in the Stages program provides youths the ability to gain hands-on experience that can assist them in their adult endeavors and develop a love of the arts.
